Residential Programme

We work alongside a local rehabilitation centre to provide residential accommodation for people in second stage recovery, our aim being to help them transition into independent living, within a supportive community.

“Adullam” comes from a cave situated in Canaan (Middle East), which was used in Bible times by David and his followers when they sought protection from having been expelled from their home town and were being persecuted by King Saul.  The cave became known as a place of refuge within a safe community for “every one that was in distress, in debt, or was discontented”*.  As a result this community grew until, under David’s mentoring and organisation, they were able to head back into society stronger and able to resume their lives.

*quoted from 1 Samuel 22

NEED SUPPORT?

About the Residential Programme

We work alongside a local rehabilitation centre to provide residential accommodation for people in second stage recovery, our aim being to help them transition into independent living, within a supportive community. As part of this we help them structure a weekly timetable that best fits the needs and interests of each person.

It’s important that each individual is provided with a safe place to heal and grow through support that recognises their unique journey, experiences and requirements in order to help them take responsibility for their own life, choices and future.

“Coming to Adullam has made such a positive difference to my recovery and they were there at a time I needed help the most.”
